The year that was..

The year went by so fast..very fast indeed..

Important Things that happened to me in this year
- job change (well this job also sucks!)
- bought a house in madurai
- debtor for more than millon indian bucks (courtesy- previous point)
- lot of trips (vythri-kerala,valparai, pondicherry, kodai & marvanthe, golden-palms etc.)
- a lot of friends from the new company
- read calvin & hobbes a lot many times
- started blog
- orkut (~15 day wonder)
- gmail
- salary hikes (but, the more u have, the more u need!)
- a lot of booze (what I'd have drunk in previous 4 years, I did it this year alone)

Things that I would have liked to happened this year but didn't happen
- job cud have been better
- US visit
- a girlfriend (this is never gonna happen:-))
- missed the TII library (it had a good collection of non-tech books..very good indeed!)
- not regular blogging
- startup didn't start(well, i lost 50$ 'cos this venture..geez)
- better time management
- skill development (this year it's zero)


I hope the new year is better and different and not the same!


We still haven't got what calvin wanted almost 1.5 decade ago!


OKAY..thats it..my last post for year 2004..we're gonna have a party
tonight at my frineds place(u guessed it right..party for/by/to the frustrated bachelors gang)..drinks..food..pondi..ahoy..what a way to bring curtains for 2004 and say HI to 2005!

my new year resolutions - Part 2

This is on my finances (do i have anything left?)

Updates :-
On the previous list of resolutions, I've started to work on novel front. Got 5-6 books from book market(entire cost was 250 or so!!)
Currently reading "THE FIRM" by grisham...

my new year resolutions - Part 1

The list is as follows

1) Re-start the blog (well, i am a loser, i know this is not going to happen)
2) manage time well (2004 has been pathetic), use timetracker etc
3) donate blood twice (new year + my bday)
4) read atleat one novel a month (catch-22 is lying for over a month for my attention)
5) Get into stock market (*conditions apply)
6) Find a date who can spend for you also (as if i'm having hundreds now!)
7) get a new *** in 1st or 2nd quarter of the year(pretty easy to guess ***, isn't it?)

wait for part-2..if you have good ones, lemme know..(they better be practical ones also).

OR should I go the calvin way!
