Internet connection @ speed of light - Part 2 - Gods must be crazy
Believe it or not, this post is from my home broadband connection :-)
To cut longest story to long, all my attempts at reaching them proved futile..still after sometime they themselves called me and setup date/time for the connection..
but my woes wont be over so soon..i called them in the afternoon to remind them about the appt..the lineman is already out of office before lady officer comes, so no modem etc.finally i push them,plead them to give the connection today itself..finally they come around and send the modem..
but then, i'm not getting so easy..power is off so no checking the connection..they have run out of user manuals, so you dont know how to connect even if power comes later..forget it..its going to be a long shot..
surprise again, the lady calls me at 7PM(yes you read it correct..7PM..that too from home) and tells me how to do the connection and i'm here posting this blog :-)
i've still one last mile to go..they've given me wrong modem..so i've go back return this and get a different one..will that be a full stop or another chapter? Gods must be crazy!!
